OUR SCHOOL TRIP

This week the children from Year 2 and Year 3 went on a school trip to see a play about a man who loved recording the countryside. We had a lot of fun taking Magic dragon everywhere with us and learning how to imitate the sound of the rain. Take a look at some of our favourite moments with Magic.

HOW TO SET THE TABLE

As part of this month´s unit where we are learning different types of food we have been thinking about how to set the table. In Year 1 we set up a dinner table in the classroom with a table cloth, a knife, a fork, a spoon, a plate and a glass.

THE FINISHED PRODUCT...

Last week we showed you some photos of how we were painting different spring bugs with stamps made from potatoes, apples, and even our own hands and fingers! Now we want to show you the result of all that stamping. We had great fun decorating the spring wall with all the animals we had made and talking about them with our teachers.

A SPRING POEM

In Year 1 (3 years old) we have been learning a poem about beautiful flowers that we can see in spring. The poems not only help us learn vocabulary, but also rhythm and prounciation, two factors which are very important in English.

I CAN SEE A RAINBOW

With the mixed weather that we have in spring, we often have days of rain, days of sunshine, and even days where it is rainy and sunny at the same time. On these special days, we are sometimes lucky
enough to see a rainbow, so we decided to sing you a song about rainbows. We also wanted to show you how well we know the lifecycle of the butterfly.

Do you know as much about spring as we do?

WELCOMING SPRING INTO THE INFANT SCHOOL

In the Infant school we have been so excited about welcoming spring into the building, so we decided to create a huge spring mural. Each class contributed a different flower, insect or another typical thing that we can see in spring. It´s a work in progress, but have a peek at how it´s going.
